In a recent BBC DIY SOS programme "Bowled over in Oxford", the presenter talks about our Mirror Adhesive product, saying it's "extra special sticky stuff" and claiming it can bond a wide variety of substrates. In this instance it was used for bonding a splash back above a stove.
Traditionally Mirror Adhesive has been used for fixing mirrors to vertical, non-porous surfaces such as painted plaster or wood, ceramic tiles and glass in situations which would otherwise require the use of mechanical fixings. Its special solvent-free formulation has been extensively tested for compatibility with all known mirror backing paints and once cured, its flexible rubberised characteristics can accommodate small surface irregularities.
As this product is a fast curing adhesive which can accommodate small surface irregularities, it's understandable this product has a vast array of different uses outside of traditional mirror fixing.
