Since the acquisition of the butyl sealants business of Scapa Tapes in February 2007, Hodgson has developed to become a leading global player in the manufacture of sealants. We have grown our share of the worldwide sealant market and we continue to grow and develop our products for a wide variety of applications across the Uk, Europe, the Far East and beyond. Our new website now incorporates our complete butyl sealant range.
Whilst we are a global player to many of our customers, we are proud of our roots in the manufacture of sealants for the UK construction market. The website continues to provide existing and new customers with a bank of information on our products and where they are used. Glaziers and joinery manufacturers can refer to our glazing system selector to ensure they are using the correct products and methods of glazing depending upon the type of frame being used. Our corporate and brand identities have changed as we have grown and developed into a global player, however we still remain a family owned business, with its number one focus on developing close partnerships with our customers and suppliers, exceeding expectations even in the most demanding application requirements.
